July Contest – Express Yourself!

Posted by on July 13, 2009

Flow Circus wants you to express yourself – make a music video with juggling or one of the other skill toys: diabolo, flower sticks, kendama, yo-yo, footbag, spinning plates,  or jitter ring. Videos will be uploaded to FlowCircus.tv by library staff and the winning video will earn a $50 credit to the Flow Circus Store.

Here’s how it works:

  • Listen to the 3 songs available at FlowCircus.tv/music and select one for your video.
  • Select at least 1 prop to use in the video and plan a routine with a beginning, middle, & end that fits the song.
  • Practice your routine and then schedule a time to film with the library staff. They will upload the video to FlowCircus.tv
  • Go to the website to watch your video and videos made by other kids. Share your video with friends and family.

The videos will be judged on:

  • Originality
  • Skill level with the prop used
  • Choreography – connection between the routine & music

Timeline for this contest:

  • July 13-31: Video creation & uploading
  • July 31: Deadline for uploading
  • August 1-3: Video judging
  • August 3: Winning video & next contest announced on this blog

Additional contest submission rules can be found here.

Good luck & have fun expressing yourself!!
