Flow Circus is kicking off a new video contest during Teen Tech Week 2010. Create a 1 minute music video, review a book, or produce a skill toy commercial. Check out these examples and read on for more information.
4 Easy Steps
1. Learn: To use one or more skill toys
2. Create: Music Video, Commercial, or Book Review
- Music Video – Choreograph a routine to music.
- Book Review -Communicate the theme of a book.
- Commercial – Advertise the benefits of playing with one or more skill toys
3. Share: Upload video to FlowCircus.tv
4. Win: Skill toy grand prizes and trophies

Complete Rules
Video Category: Must be a music video, commercial for a skill toy, or review of book
Prop: Must make use of at least 1 skill toy or other manipulative prop (ie: pen, ball, box, stick, whatever)
Duration: Must be 60 seconds or less
Eligibility: Open to any 10-16 year old who has participated in a Flow Circus camp, workshop, after school, or summer program.
Music: All music used must be licensed under Creative Commons or original composition. Use one of these songs.
Deadline: uploaded by midnight, April 30, 2010
Who Can Upload: Skill Toy Club Coordinators or Club Members (sign up for your account at flowcircus.tv)
Categories & Tagging: Select Contest Category and enter one of the following as the tag:
- Ages 10-12 – “Whatever 1 – Junior”
- Ages 13-16 – “Whatever 1 – Senior ”
Prizes: 2 Grand Prize Awarded on May 5, 2010 for age 10-12, 13-16
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and originality (50 points)
- Demonstrated of skill with props (30 points)
- Views (20 points)
Judging Process:
- Top 10 finalists decided by Flow Circus Staff
- Winner selected by panel of celebrity judges and announced by May 15th
